I agree with you. I wish I had more about money, business, relationship, emotional intelligence. Also wish there could have been more tech. I will say, going to school in California in the late 70's & then high school in Idaho in the 80's, we had plenty of experimental vocational classes. I took wood shop, sewing, art, Spanish, writing, auto mech, cooking, home ec, typing, accounting, history, government. Vocabulary in biology was outrageous and I've lost it all. But with so many choices in different ideologies, it really opened up a creative being. We need more of that, open, creative well rounded, morally aware without being judgmental, beings. How to accomplish that in a school system is beyond me. I do believe it takes a village, and graduation is only the beginning of learning.
