I get fired up about nurturing the people around me. If someone is tearing themselves in a negative way, I defend them against themselves. I teach them to be aware of the internal dialog that is beating them down. Awareness is Key to change. When someone around me flippantly says, "I'm stupid" Its time to stop them, and remind them that they would never speak to a loved one or even a stranger that way. Yet to repeatedly speak that way to oneself is creating a viral loop of negative thought leading to negative response to confirm the thought. Even just explaining the scenario has me all fired up. So, I love many things, Postcards, gardening, Language, computer software, but my Passion is to guard the people around me from themselves. Create real change in someone's thought process, to help them forge a new identity based on positive thoughts leading to more positive outcomes. It's quite extraordinary in action. Everyone should try it sometime.
