Give me a good legal example speech.
With the prior permission of the executive board, the delegates of the United States of America would like to present their views on this agenda. The delegate would like to acknowledge certain issues first. it has come to a point where government-funded PMCs are rebelling against the country as with the Wagner group crisis, which shows the failing authority of the Russian government. In addition, the Wagner group’s chief had given a public statement, where he mentioned that Russia had forced their country’s prisoners to fight in the Bhakmut War. Along with that, Syria has a trilateral armed conflict which is now being topped by a police state regime, assaulting both the armed forces and their prisoners of war. The delegate feels like there is a pattern here, which is that Countries DO NOT consider the rights of POWs when they are under pressure and conflict. - Now, The delegate would like to start by requesting the committee to emphasize their solutions to the Geneva Convention III, as it contains many unwritten loopholes being exploited by countries. - Article 17, of the Geneva Convention under the “interrogation of prisoners part” needs heavy amendments, as it contains pertinent issues that are being missed, The delegate recommends this be amended to allow physical and mental forms of ill-treatment, in certain cases, where the Prisoners of War could hold certain pertinent information that could save the lives of the public and citizens, Article 6 under the special agreements also is very weakly framed, where we, as the United Nations Human Rights Council recommend this be amended to allow for agreements on external affairs, including those regarding the treatment of prisoners of war, to be formed and signed, that allow for the adverse treatment of prisoners of war; Fully legal speech dont get you anywhere, but this is how I do it.
