As a late-diagnosed ADHDer, I have long learned that habits - at least unpleasant ones - may well be a myth when we're concerned. This is because struggles do not become easier for us over time (sometimes the other way around), and even one day of break may destroy a "habit" laboriously formed over months, or even longer. Therefore, the one habit that I'm happy to say I did - mostly - manage to adopt, and has changed my entire life forever, is the habit of forgiving myself. I may not always embrace, but I absolutely accept my inconsistency, which is my only consistency.
