Favorite programs to draw and animate with?

I’m rather curious Ohmi! You have a unique art style (in a good way of course!) What programs specifically do you use for art? -Axe :3

Hi Axe! :D My primary digital art software is Clip Studio Paint EX (currently version 5.1.4) on an Apple iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. I absolutely Live and Die by CSP lol. I love the tools, brushes, textures, patterns, etc. that are made very easily available through its online community store. It's tailored mostly for comic/manga creation, so it has a lot of built-in features for making paneling and word bubbles very quickly, and a growing library of 3D models to suuuper streamline bigger projects. Huge downside though: Working with text inside of any version of the app SUCKS. I don't know how they haven't figured it out yet, but if you want to do *anything* stylistically with text, I highly suggest using something else, like Photoshop. I'd also happily plug IbisPaint X for mobile, it's very reminiscent of early internet oekaki in that it's stripped down to essential features, but it still has a lot to offer for the one-time price. I doodle with my phone stylus while I'm in bed or in waiting rooms, etc. Don't expect masterpieces, but it is excellent for thumbnailing! My pipeline pretty much bounces between: Sketch - Clip Studio Paint EX on iPad or IbisPaint X on Android (with phone stylus) Ink/Color - Clip Studio Paint EX Text/Filter Correction - Adobe Photoshop CS6 Just recently I have been playing with After Effects for puppet animation, that was fun! It's not frame-by-frame, but depending on how you plan out your project you can make something pretty slick with minimal effort. But lots of fiddling. So maybe a lot of effort, actually. Other than that, I spend a huge amount of time inside of Unity and Suvidriel's VNyan for my VTubing excursions! Thanks for your question! Would gladly go all in on any app if you're curious!
